13 Nights of Halloween – Night 8

On this 8th night of the 13 Nights of Halloween I bring you hamburger balls!! These cute little pumpkin shaped balls are filled with a hamburger mixture and wrapped in pizza dough. I used an edible marker to draw a jack o’ lantern face on these little cuties, but feel free to leave them plain!

Hamburger Balls

A super simple hamburger onion mixture rolled up in pizza dough! Serve with ketchup and ranch for the most delicious appetizer ever!

Ingredients

  

• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 sweet onion minced
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• seasoned salt to taste
• pepper to taste
• 1 tube store bought pizza dough

Instructions

 

• Preheat oven to 400°F
• Saute onion in olive oil and season with salt and pepper
• Add hamburger and cook until browned
• Season with seasoned salt, garlic powder and pepper, to taste
• Roll out store bought pizza crust and cut into circles
• Press 1 tbsp of meat mixture into center of circles and pull dough around forming a ball
• Add stem with remaining dough
• Bake for ~20 minutes, until starting to turn brown
• When cooled, use edible marker to draw jack o lantern face on ball
