25 Days of Cookies: Day 11
Grandma Bray’s donut holes are the star on this 11th Day of December. Ok, I know these are not technically a cookie. However, 25 cookies is a lot of cookies so I thought I would spice it up with this iconic recipe. While my dad makes these using a deep fat fryer, I just used a large dutch oven to fry these little nugs. Pro tip – if you have a grill with a gas side burner, it is so much better using that. That way no oil spats all over your clean stove AND your house doesn’t smell like a deep fat fryer. It also prevents the fire alarm from going off, but I am hoping that doesn’t happen to y’all as often as it happens to me.
