Cranberry Jam Thumbprint Cookies
Cranberry jam thumbprint cookies are the star on this second day in December! These little cuties melt in your mouth and the cranberry jam give a nice festive spin on an old classic! I use my own cranberry jam recipe but feel free to use whatever you like!
Cranberry Jam Thumbprint Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter soft
- ⅔ cup powdered sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tsp vanilla
- ¼ tsp almond extract
- 2½ cup AP flour
- granulated sugar for rolling
- cranberry jam for filling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F
- Cream butter and powdered sugar
- Add eggs
- Add vanilla and almond extract
- Slowly add flour
- Roll dough into balls and then coat with granulated sugar
- Make thumbprint in center of cookie and then fill with a dollop of cranberry jam
- Bake for 15 minutes
