Chocolate Cherry Protein Balls
Y’all know I love a protein ball and these Valentine’s Day themed chocolate cherry protein balls are just the festive treat I need season! I use my favorite Blogilates chocolate protein powder, but feel free to use whatever you like!
Chocolate Cherry Protein Balls
easy peasy protein balls packed with all the good stuff – cherries, protein powder, almond butter and dates
Ingredients
- ½ cup chocolate protein powder
- 12 dates
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ¾ cup dried cherries
- ¼ cup almond butter
- almond milk
- ½ cup mini vegan chocolate chips optional
Instructions
- Roughly chop ¼ cup of cherries
- In a food processor, food process the dates and the ½ cup of the cherries until they are finely chopped
- Combine dried fruit with the rest of the ingredients, adding just enough milk to form a dough
- Scoop out with a cookie scoop and roll into a ball
- Store in the refrigerator
