Mary Mauss’ Melting Moments
On this 15th day of December, I brink you Mary Mauss’ Melting Moments! These cookies are SO good. They just melt in your mouth and the frosting on top gives it a little something special.
Mary Mauss’ Melting Moments
Ingredients
- 1¼ cup flour
- 1 cup butter soft
- ¾ cup cornstarch
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ cup nuts optional
Frosting
- 3 tbsp butter soft
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp cream
- ¼ tsp vanilla
- dash salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F
- Cream butter, vanilla, sugar, cornstarch and flour
- Add nuts
- Roll into small balls then flatten
- Bake for 10 minutes
- While cooling, make powdered sugar icing by combining all ingredients
- Frost cookies when cooled then top with sprinkles, if desired
