Grandma Bray’s Easy Praline Bars

HAPPY FALL Y’ALL!!! Now that Labor Day has passed, it is officially Fall in my book and I am living my best Fall life. I am going to kick off this wonderful season with my grandma’s praline bars. Y’all, these things are SO good. Like I ate the entire pan before David came home from work good. They are also SUPER easy to make. The base is just a simple yellow cake mix and the frosting comes together in a few minutes! This will give you alllll the Fall feels!!

Grandma Bray’s Easy Praline Bars

These praline bars are super easy and a perfect fall dessert

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 2 ⅓ cups light brown sugar packed
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 ½ cup chopped pecans
  • 2 eggs beaten

Instructions
 

  • Prepare cake mix following package instructions an pour batter into a jelly roll pan
  • Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes
  • Melt butter in pan then add brown sugar, flour and eggs
  • Cook over low heat, stirring constantly so eggs do not scramble
  • Remove from heat and stir in nuts and vanilla
  • Spread evenly over cooled cake
  • Return to oven for 8 minutes at 450°F to set frosting and brown
  • Let cool then cut into squares
