Mary Mauss’ Apple Bread

If you are looking for a fun fall baking activity and this pumpkin bread is not for you, give this apple bread a try! It is bursting with fresh apple flavor and fall spices that will surely get you into a festive mood. I have used both Jonathan apples and Granny Smith apples for this recipe. While I prefer the Jonathans, both versions of the apple bread were pretty darn good. There is this crisp like topping that goes on the top of the loaf and it is delicious. This recipe is written to make 2 loaves, however, I used my festive little mini loaf pan again. If you also use mini loaf pans, be sure to reduce your cooking time!

Here are the little festive loaves flipped over so you can see the yummy topping!
