Can y’all believe it is a week before Easter!? If you are looking for a star appetizer for your Easter dinner, let me introduce you to a Bray family hit – ham balls!! These little cuties are half ham, half pork and they are covered in a sweet glaze that will knock your socks off.

These ham balls are half ham, half pork and they are covered in a sweet glaze that will knock your socks off!!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb ground ham
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 3 cups crushed crackers
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 5 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 4 tsp vinegar
  • cup corn syrup
  • cups water

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325°F
  • Mix ham, pork, crackers, eggs and milk together and form balls. 
  • Bake uncovered for 1 hour.
  • Make glaze by combining brown sugar, flour, vinegar, dry mustard, corn syrup and water then bring to a boil. 
  • Let glaze boil for 1 minute then pour over ham balls.
  • If ham balls are on the large size, let bake for 20-30 more minutes. Otherwise for normal sized balls, bake for 2 minutes longer.
