Skinny Birthday Cake Cookie Bars

OMG Y’ALL. These skinny birthday cake cookie bars are fantastic. They are SUPER easy to make and they make the entire house smell like a birthday cake. All you need is a box of funfetti cake mix (aka the best cake mix ever), mini chocolate chips, sprinkles, applesauce and eggs! This recipe could seriously could not get any easier!

Birthday Cake Cookie Bars

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box funfetti cake mix
  • ⅓ cup applesauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sprinkles
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • additional sprinkles for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Combine mix with applesauce and eggs
  • Fold in sprinkles and chocolate chips
  • Press into greased baking dish
  • Top with additional sprinkles, if desired
  • Bake 20-25 minutes until the edges start to brown
