25 Days of Cookies: Day 4
The star cookie on this 4th day of Christmas is a classic: Chocolate Chip. At Christmas time, the only acceptable chocolate chip cookie according to my dad is the Nestle Toll House cookie recipe. I took the basic recipe and rolled each cookie in green and red sprinkles to give it a festive spin.

So grandma and now I add red and green food coloring to the dough before baking. Grandpa would always try to figure out which color tasted better. He would say they were cherry or lime or something else that went along with the color even though they were both the same just different colors.
