13 Nights of Halloween: Night 7
Happy festive family Friday!!! This family Friday, which falls on the 7th night of Halloween, features my grandma’s caramel apples!! Easy to make and SO good.
Grandma Bray’s Caramel Apples
apples dipped in caramel sauce
Ingredients
- 8 medium apples
- 15 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- wooden skewers
Instructions
- Remove stems and insert skewers
- In a saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, sugar, corn syrup and brown sugar and cook until 234°F – stir constantly
- Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla
- Quickly dip and swirl apples in syrup to coat
- Cool on well greased cookie sheet/parchment paper
