13 Nights of Halloween: Night 13
Happy Halloween, yall!! On this very festive day, I bring you an oldie but a goodie: ~spooky~ air fried scotch eggs. While you can use any meat you want, I like to make scotch eggs with turkey sausage. I used some sriracha and black olives to make these eggs ~spooky~. The sriracha was a bit spicy, so feel free to use ketchup to get the same effect. While you can hard boil your own eggs, I like to just buy them already hard boiled.
Spooky Air Fried Scotch Eggs

Equipment
- air fryer
Ingredients
- 4 hard boiled eggs peeled
- 1 lb turkey sausage
- 4 egg whites
- 2 cups panko
- sriracha or ketchup
- sliced black olives
- spray cooking oil
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F for ~15 minutes while prepping eggs
- Coat hard boiled eggs with ¼ of the turkey sausage
- Dip sausage rolled eggs in egg whites then coat in panko
- Spray hardboiled eggs with Pam or other spray cooking oil
- Place eggs in air fryer and cook at 400°F for ~ 6 minutes on each side until turkey sausage is cooked
- Cut eggs in half and place sliced olives in center of yolks to create eyes
- Add sriracha or ketchup to make eyes look bloodshot
