13 Nights of Halloween – Night 5
Happy Night 5 of the 13 Nights of Halloween!! On this fifth night, I bring you an easy peasy monster mix! This mix is super customizable and brings together all the best that Halloween has to offer!
Monster Mix
A yummy mix with Halloween candies, popcorn, potato chips and pretzels topped with royal icing.
Ingredients
- popcorn
- pretzels
- potato chips
- rolos
- little eye candies
- mini halloween chocolates
- candy corn
- royal icing
- food coloring
- Halloween sprinkles
Instructions
- Pop popcorn following package instructions
- Combine popcorn, potato chips, pretzels and candies except rolos and eye candies
- Make royal icing – you will likely only need about 1/3 of a normal recipe
- Using toothpick or other small utensil, add a small drop of icing to top of rolo and place eye candy in the center
- Separate royal icing into as many colors as you want in the monster mix and mix with food coloring
- Pour candy/popcorn mixture onto a sheet pan and then drizzle icing over top
- Add eyeball rolos to the mix and then let sit until icing hardens
Notes
- Can also use white chocolate instead of royal icing
- Feel free to add whatever else you want to this mix!
