Happy Tea Tuesday, y’all! This low fat blueberry lemon bread is insanely good. The blueberries and blackberries keep the bread nice and moist while the lemons add a nice bright flavor that is perfect for spring! This light and delicious lemon bread was the perfect snack for an afternoon tea.

Low Fat Lemon Blueberry Bread

Ingredients
  

  • cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • cup applesauce
  • cup skim milk
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 lemons juice and zest
  • cups blueberries
  • ½ cup blackberries
  • coarse sugar for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Combine all except berries then fold in berries
  • Top with coarse sugar
  • Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean
