Pumpkin Butter
Happy ~festive~ Tea Tuesday, y’all! This pumpkin butter is both delicious and SUPER easy to make. Not only is it the perfect fall spread for your morning toast, but it can also be used in all sorts of pumpkin themed treats! I like to make a skinny version of this by substituting some of the brown sugar with monkfruit brown sugar.
Pumpkin Butter
a festive fall butter that is made with pumpkin, brown sugar and warm fall spices
Ingredients
- 15 oz pumpkin
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp cloves
- 1 pinch kosher salt
Instructions
- Combine all then bring to a boil
- Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently
Notes
To make skinny, substitute 1/2 cup brown monkfruit sugar for 1/2 cup brown sugar
